If you're among the 794,000 active or retired CalSTRS members who receive a CalSTRS newsletter in the mail, you can now sign up to receive electronic versions of either the Retired Educator or CalSTRS Connections. When you do, you'll be e-mailed your newsletter, instead of getting one in the mail. Once you sign up, you'll receive the next available electronic version.

How to sign up:

1. If you are already a registered myCalSTRS participant, just log in, go to preferences then check the box next to: Receive Semiannual Retired Educator/CalSTRS Connections Newsletter
2. If you are not yet a registered myCalSTRS participant, create a new account today (don't forget to set your preferences).
3. You'll then get the next available electronic version.

myCalSTRS provides CalSTRS Defined Benefit Members, Retirees, Beneficiaries, and Cash Balance Participants access to specific retirement and personal information electronically. In addition to signing up for eNewsletters, you can also access your Retirement Progress Report or your 1099-R form electronically anytime, day or night.
