CalSTRS moved to its new headquarters in West Sacramento in June 2009. The move allows us to better serve our members with a dedicated member services center, workshop and counseling rooms and a board meeting facility just a few blocks from the State Capitol.

Office Closures

CalSTRS Headquarters in West Sacramento will be closed on the following days:

• CalSTRS Headquarters
  Closed Three Fridays Each Month
  
  Starting July 10, 2009, CalSTRS will be closed three Fridays of each month under an executive order issued by Governor Schwarzenegger. The furloughs are currently planned to continue through June 30, 2010.
  
  Effective immediately, CalSTRS will be closed the first, second and third Friday of each month through June 30, 2010.
  
  This closure includes staff who answer the toll-free information numbers for the CalSTRS Contact Center and CalSTRS Pension2^® and those who respond to e-mails and other correspondence.
  
  
• Contact Center
  Closed July 20, 2009
  
  The Contact Center will be closed for calls on July 20, 2009 due to the move to West Sacramento. Call service will resume on July 21 at 7:00 a.m.
  
  In the meantime, members can send online inquiries to a Contact Center agent, but should expect delays in response time due to an expected high volume of messages.
